Erregimenaren egituretan instalatua zegoen (NO-DO frankismoaren albistegi ofizialeko dokumentalen saileko arduraduna zen), baina ezkerreko joera politikoa izan zuen.<a id=\"_ftnref4\" class=\"nota\" href=\"#_ftn4\"><sup>[4]<\/sup><\/a>Urte batzuk lehenago, aurrerago Ikerketa eta Esperientzia Zinematografikoen Institutua [Instituto de Investigaciones y Experiencias Cinematogr\u00e1ficas (IIEC)] sortu zuten beste pertsona batzuekin batera, L\u00f3pez Clemente kritikoa izan zen 1940ko hamarkadaren hasieran sortu zen\u00a0<em>Cine Experimental<\/em>\u00a0Espainiako lehen abangoardiako zinema-aldizkarian. Berrizendatutako EOC-en zinema dokumentaleko eskolak eman zituen eta, gainera,\u00a0<em>Film Culture<\/em>\u00a0aldizkariko hainbat zenbakitan erredaktore izan zen. Clementek gorpuzten duen figura poliedriko horrek, azken buruan, Zinemaldiko Hautaketa Batzordeari proposatu zion P. Kontsultatutako literatura ikusita, Gipuzkoako hiriburuko geldialdiak ez du inoiz interes berezirik piztu Europako birari buruz egin diren nazioarteko ikerketa urrietan.
